It's Thursday! I finally got around to doing my ColorStreet manicure, and I have to save I'm very impressed! It was easy, and looks mostly okayish. I'm on the wrong side of the learning curve at the moment, but for a first attempt I think they look acceptable. I think I will probably get better at doing this. and no mess! And no drying time.

Yesterday I also watched Roxanne, Roxanne on Netflix. I really liked the movie, but I have to say I like The Real Roxanne better than Roxanne's Revenge. Either way, it was a good movie.

The Wild game tonight! I know I'm not a hockey fan, but free tickets are free tickets! Except I had to buy a Wild jersey, so they weren't exactly free.

Wednesday! So I didn't get to do my nails last night because I accidentally fell asleep and took a 2 hour nap. It was fantastic! I love naps! I only woke up because it was way past dinner time and I was starving. So I made a super fancy dinner of Kraft Mac & Cheese. Yum! So, my nails are on the agenda for tonight. Also, I can take a long nap and still go to bed on time. And still wake up tired.

Today I hit the triple whammy of awesomeness. I had to leave 10 minutes early to stop and get gas, I got to stand in the cold, and I got to pay $35. I'm still not sure why I didn't stop after work yesterday to fill my tank.

Also, Bingo Blitz people: it is nearly April! Why have I not been able to finish the Jolly Jackpot Christmas slots???  I have been playing that room EVERY SINGLE DAY with all of my coins and I still need 2 items. I should not be playing December slots in April!  Why am I still playing this game?

I might be cranky today.

Another Tuesday! It seems like I've been working for hours already, but it's only 7:30. I have gotten a lot done already, so there's that.  Last night we made hamburgers with homemade hamburger buns. They turned out surprisingly well, but HOLY CARBS!

I got my first shipment of ColorStreet nail polish strips. I'm excited to try them out tonight. Fingers crossed they work, because they seem so easy. I got a silver french manicure. I'm definitely going to have to find a youtube video before I start. I watched one of the regular color application, but the French is a 2-step process. Pretty polished fingers crossed I can do this.

Another Monday...... I'm having problems with Snapchat. They are totally user issues. I keep accidentally sending snaps to the wrong people. I have snapped the Vikings 3 times with pictures meant for the Princess. And some of the pictures were embarrassing because we snap each other silly faces. I have sent snaps to at least 10 people accidentally. They aren't anything bad, I only use snapchat to stay in contact with my daughter. We have a snapstreak over 400 days long, you'd think by now I would have figured out how to not press the wrong buttons.

My weekend was good, very uneventful. The only time I left the house was to do D2's dad's taxes. Other than that, I just did stuff around the house. Laundry, Netflix, eating ice cream.....I finished the latest season of Scandal and am starting season 4 of Being Mary Jane. Such a good show! I also cooked a roast yesterday. Thank you, ZarahZou. It was probably the bestest roast I've ever made. I threw it in the crockpot with 18,000 different spices, including 5000 cloves of garlic. It turned out phenomenal. Since I was serving it with heat & eat Simply Potatoes garlic mashed  (thank you, Ibotta) and microwave steamed veggies, I decided that I should do some real cooking and I made homemade biscuits. They actually turned out edible. It was a great dinner!

Today's pattern matching is a little sketchy. I made an emergency facetime call to The Princess last night to see if I matched, and she said "I'd never wear it together, but I can see you doing it". Last night I was confident, today I'm on the fence. But I am covering it with knee high boots and a long Sarah, so maybe no one will notice that the Lynnae and Leggings might not match.

The Bangles - Manic Monday

In the midnight hour.....

It's Friday! I decided to sleep in an extra 45 minutes. In retrospect, that was sort of a bad idea. Because then I end up with 15 minutes to get ready. And it takes me that long just to wash my face. I left 5 minutes later than I intended, but it's Friday so I was still at work 45 minutes before I actually need to be here. I hope today flies by. I have a ton of work to do, so that should help.

Last night I pulled leftover enchiladas from the freezer for dinner. They reheat super good! Next time I make them, I'm going to make several extra pans. Because that was like the easiest dinner ever. I love easy.

I brought in the rest of my jar of JewelScent Calm Lavender aroma beads to put on my desk. They smell really good, and maybe they will make my office more relaxing. Either that, or I will spill them and end up on my hands and knees picking up tiny beads. We'll see.

Thursday! I really need to quit accidentally falling asleep around 6:00. Even if I only sleep for half an hour, it becomes impossible to fall asleep before midnight. And so, then I wake up super tired. And accidentally fall asleep at 6:00 and so on and so forth. Vicious cycle. I need to break it.

I have a basket of Mexican candy on my desk. I brought it back from Cali and it is filled with yummy mango-chili suckers and other fun stuff. It's not in the basket to share with people, it's in the basket because I had no place else to put it. I don't share candy.

Today's Lula is a Lynnae, a Sarah and "dancing pineapple lady" leggings. These are not something I would normally wear to work, but I needed something with a black background and a color I have a Lynnae to match so I could wear black shoes. I don't think boots would be comfortable on my skinned up calf (from falling yesterday).

Ok, it's Wednesday. And I was dressed in the most perfectly coordinating outfit ever - from my sweater to my socks. And then ice happened. Needless to say, as soon as I find a pair of scissors I will be the proud owner of a pair of Lularoe legging-shorts. Provided, of course, that the blood comes out. Time to really test the Norwex stain remover.

I exchanged the ripped leggings for a pair of jeans and now I don't really match. It was the leggings that tied the outfit together. It's going to be a long days spent wondering if people are assuming I got dressed in the dark. Thankfully the reality of it is that no one will even pay enough attention to my clothes to check out if I match or not.

Tuesday! And it has already been a long week. Apparently it's snowing outside. Yay for the first day of spring! Today's hairstyle is a little something called "I don't even care". I didn't realize how messy it looked until I sent the Princess my daily SnapChat. We are at 402 days on our streak. #accomplishments

My newest non-addiction is JewelScent Candles. They are candles with jewelry in them. This is a weird obsession for me because I don't even really wear jewelry. Sometimes I don't even make sense to myself. Anyhow, you burn the candle down and get a trinket. Theoretically, the jewelry could be valued at $10,000. but I was unable to find any stats on how many valuable rings they put in their products. So I'm going with likely none. So, you end up with a pretty dollar store ring that is going to turn your finger green. However, the candles do smell amazing, so I buy them for that and not to get rich. I'm wearing one of my rings today, a blue princess cut aquamarine gemstone. It's pretty. Oh, and the nail polish is Sally Hansen Red Eye Miracle Gel polish.

It's Monday again. It seems like after every single Sunday comes a Monday. I was up way too late last night waiting for a miracle Gophers Women come back. It didn't happen. And it was a terrible game. I don't mind losing sleep for a good game. But this was not a good game.

I had a pretty good weekend. I spent it mostly working and watching basketball. I love March Madness time! I watched the high school girls tourny and switched to NCAA during commercials. My bracket is no longer a bracket, but rather a bunch of scribbles and curse words.  I was okay losing Virginia. I mean, who could have predicted that upset. But I also lost Xavier, who I picked to run the tournament table. But .  I can't even look at my bracket anymore. I have never done so horribly!

I had a very hard time getting dressed today. Could someone explain to me why I can super easily wear a Medium Carly but yet the 3X Nicole I pulled out of the closet is uncomfortably tight? And I can wear a small Irma, but a 3X Gigi makes me look like a stuffed sausage? DEAR LULAROE- YOUR SIZING MAKES NO SENSE!!! Anyhow, today I settled on a solid black with white trim Julia and a red and white striped Lindsay. Yes, I may or may not look like a candy cane.

I should've known all along that time would tell....

It's Friday!! This work week was only 2 days long, but it feels like forever. I want to go back on vacation! I am very, very good at vacationing! It's only 7 am and I'm already thinking about taking a nap. Although I'm pretty sure that napping at work is not okay. But, I have not tested that theory so maybe it's time. For science, obviously.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. I drive in the right lane because I know I'm going to be driving the speed limit. If this is not okay with you, then you are welcome to pass me. I won't be offended. I can not afford a ticket, it would cut into my Lula budget. So, please allow for a safe following distance. Also, a safe following distance is not 3 inches.

And to the Pop Slots people, I'm sure you have noticed that when I run out of coins, I will purchase more if you offer me the $11.99 package. Because in girl math, that is only $10. And $10 is pocket change. If you offer me the $32.99 package, I will not purchase it. Because $33 is grocery money. So, your options are making $12 off me or making me $0. Because I will buy the $12 package all day long. But I will never buy the $33 package. Ever.

Thursday, and back to work and back to blogging after 12 days off in a row. In addition to my visit with the Princess I watched a lot of Netflix and didn't do much else. After I got back from Cali I only left the house twice. Once for a pedi with ZarahZou on Sunday and then yesterday I forced myself to go to Target so I could get reacquainted with peopling. I even had a small talk convo with the cashier about couponing. Then I went home and watched more Netflix.

My trip was fantastic. I miss the Princess so much! She is living in an RV and when I got there I saw that they had stuff piled up outside in bins and bags because it doesn't fit. She said they were saving up for a storage shed. So the next day we went to Home Depot and I got them a shed. And then we spent several hundred hours putting it together. It was the most insane thing I've ever tried to construct. You'd think a basic metal 6x8 shed would be pretty simple. But it had (no exaggeration) like 425 screws and bolts. We missed a few, but it is currently standing, so there's that.

I slept in until 10 yesterday, I haven't done that in forever. So obviously I could not get to sleep last night. That equals me being extremely tired today. And I have 311 (again, not exaggerating) emails to contend with. So now for an unsolicited product review. I am not getting paid for this nor did I receive a free product. However, if someone knows how I can get paid/get free stuff in exchange for reviews, please let me know.

That guy was on the Cartwheel for 40% off and on the Ibotta for like .75 cents cash back. So it cost me like .13 cents or something. It's too early for mathing. Anyhow, it's good. It's Mango Lime and 5% juice so it counts as a fruit serving. The taste is great, and if you are okay with gut-rot, I'd highly recommend it. I would not pay $1.49 for it. But I would definitely buy it again for .13. I'd even pay up to .47. But no more than that.

It's Friday!! 1 day of work and I weekend day to get through and then CALIFORNIA! I'm super excited. I woke up early this morning and decided to try to fix my hair color. I went about 3 shades darker and it's better, but still a bit too orangy. I'm stuck with it now, because I don't want to put yet another layer of dye in it. I just got it trimmed and I don't want to risk frying the ends.

Lots to get done today. Today's Lula is a solid white Lynnae with a blue Sarah. Also, my picture is sideways.

So last night I went over to my dad's to help him set up his "smart" phone. I also got the carrier to add my name to the account so that I could talk to them without jumping through hoops. I set the phone up with my phone number as a back up and used an email that I set up the password to. This way if (when?) he locks himself out, I will be able to get it unlocked. I also went over smart phone basics, and he can now send text messages. My dad's first text messages:

And yes, I was sitting right across from him when we sent those. I was thankful I had a stylus pen in my purse so I gave him that so he could press one letter at a time. He needs a bit more practice, but he'll get there. I had him practice calling between his smart phone and his flip phone. It was super cute when he said goodbye to himself when he hung up.

Today's Lula is a Carly that I got in a mystery package. LOVE IT! I also got a gift card that I'm using as part of a present for ZarahZou. Shhhhh..... I was shopping in a GOOBers shop and I found her a pair of EPIC leggings. They are so fantastic and I can't wait to gift them to her. If she doesn't put them on immediately I will be very disappointed! Anyhow, today is a Carly and leggings:
