Wednesday....I have a half day of PTO today so I can go to the DMV and renew the tabs on both of my cars. Yay! I love spending eleventy-million dollars on something like that! Speaking of cars, of course it snowed because I just got a car wash. And also, a small part of me is concerned because I parked my car totally crooked today. But a larger part just doesn't care. I'm leaving at 11 anyway. And all the parking lines were totally snow-covered and blurred.

Tuesday.....I spent several hours last night trying to reorganize my Lula. I've reached the conclusion that it is a lost cause. I just simply do not have the space for my leggings. I stopped at Target and got several plastic see-through containers, so now I have containers of leggings with no place to store them. My closet is full of my shoes. I have a mess. I am a mess. Tonight I will try to come up with a new plan. But it keeps coming back to the fact that I may just need another closet.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a podiatrist. You know the pain is bad when I am willing to use my money to pay a doctor instead of buying Lula. I'm pretty sure it's plantar fasciitis since I've dealt with it before. But this time the ice and exercises are not helping the pain. Also, high deductible health plans suck!

Monday. I didn't get all I hoped to accomplish this weekend done. I got all my Lula tops and dresses hung up, but I have no place left to put my leggings. For now, they are in stacks all over the place. I need to figure something out. Also, man I have a lot of Lularoe. Like a ridiculous amount. I should be very well dressed for a long time!

I finished Heartland on Netflix. I think there should be another season coming soon. Until then, I need to find something new to watch.

I scored at Target. They had 20% off boots on the cartwheel, and I found 2 pair that were $12.98. So, an additional 20% off $13 is like practically free!!

Well look at me, I'm coming back again....

FRIDAY!!  In between a major Lula shopping spree to spend my Lulacash, I've been staring aimlessly at two Words with Friends boards. I am not seeing a single play that will be beneficial to my score. I need to walk away and come back. I can play a letter or 2, but I'd like to score more than 7 points.

After work, Target is calling my name. I need to visit my happy place. And pick up some $125 milk. Nothing on this weekend's agenda except somewhere around 1400 loads of laundry. Being an adult can be so boring!

Today the Princess turns 26. 26! Where did the time go? I miss her so very much, but California is where she should be. She seems happy there. I'm planning a visit for March, I just need to find the time to check out prices. And hotels. I can't spend a week in her little RV. I'm thinking she can stay at the hotel, too. She wants to do a day trip to Santa Cruz. Since I've never been there, that sounds fun.

You know I like my girls a little bit older....

I had always been told that once I hit 40, it was all downhill for my body. I'd wake up with creaks and cricks and aches and pains. Well, the people that told me that were right on the money. I may look 29-ish, but my body feels 80. My back hurts, my knees crack, my shoulder....everything. I can't deny I'm getting older. At least I just had a pedicure so my toes are pretty.

I did make it to the post office yesterday, so the Princess will get her birthday boxes only a day late. I could have spent an extra $219 to send them overnight, but I think she can wait a couple days. I'm glad to have something I can cross off my to-do list. But it's "cross off one thing, add 7 more". Eventually I will make progress. This weekend I absolutely NEED to take an inventory of my LulaRoe. Before I buy even one more thing I need to sort through what I have. I can't find a couple things I was looking for. And there's always the chance I only dreamed I bought them.

Today's Lula is a Julia and a Lindsay. I bought this Lindsay with the intention of pairing it with a couple Cassie's I have. But when I was hanging it in my closet I saw how perfectly it matched this Julia.

It's Wednesday, my 5th favorite day of the week! The roads are pretty much cleared off, so my commute was SO much easier. I decided I need to take a half day of PTO today so I can get to the post office to mail the Princess her birthday gifts. I may or may not have told her that I mailed them Monday. In my defense, I had really good intentions. But I can't even blame the snow. It's just procrastilaziness. I will most definitely probably get it taken care of today. I also want to make one more attempt at finding my car title. It has to be somewhere. Unfortunately that somewhere may be unfindable. Which apparently isn't a word.

I finished season 8 of Heartland.One more season left on netflix. I don't want it to end. But I'm also ready to move on to something with a little more action and adventure.

And both pieces are EXCEPTIONAL!!! I paired the Carly with a pair of leggings and a Lindsay. This Carly seems a bit shorter than some of my other ones, and I super like that!

Like a game show contestant with a parting gift.....

So it snowed a little bit yesterday. And by a little bit, I mean over a foot. I really don't mind the snow, but I hate the commute. A drive that should take 30 minutes takes an hour and a half. So much time wasted in my car. I could be using this time to play Bubble Pop Fever. Although I'm not exactly sure how many levels I have left. I'm at almost 1500.

One of the local Lula retailers had a fantastic football day sale and I was able to capitalize on it and I picked up some fantastic items. I can't wait to get them. A brown sweater Lindsay, a purple polka dot Lynnae, several other fun things.

Fairy tales don't always have a happy ending, do they?

So, it's Monday. Last night's game didn't go as I hoped. It sort of reminds me of a Lucy Swann quote from The Stand: "He's gone… but I'll have his baby. Maybe… it's not all I wanted, or all I dreamed of having… but it'll have to be enough."  We had a very good season. We just couldn't finish it out. Our defense didn't bother to show up, our offense couldn't put together anything.....I'm disappointed, but a large part of me knew it was a long shot.

Friday! Friday! Friday! Pedi tomorrow morning. Big, important Vikings game Sunday. 192 loads of laundry. That's my weekend!

In Choices, Joey McIntyre proposed and I accepted. But I don't really feel right about it. I may end up replaying so I can choose Drake. Joey may be king, but he did propose to Madeleine first. And I don't know what they did to consummate that proposal. The next chapter releases in about 4 hours, so then I shall see where the story is going.

Yay for tomorrow being Friday. Even though I'm still reeling from Prince Joey McItyre's choice of Madeleine over me and his fathers betrayal. This Choices app has me so sucked in and emotionally involved that it's reached a point of being ridiculous. I can no longer separate the fictional Royal Romance from my true reality. This is a horrible app and I had wish I never started playing it. And also I need to type this up fast so I can go play another chapter.

Today's Lula is a solid purple Amelia. Because purple. And I had to throw black leggings under it because Minnesota. I'm still not an Amelia fan, but it does have pockets. And it's purple.

Last night's LulaJammies consisted of ice cream cone/popsicle leggings and a way oversized, super stretchy striped Classic that at first glance doesn't match. But if you look closely, the stripes are the same color as the ice cream. Plus, it was pajamas.

It's Wednesday! The middle of the week. I'm excited for both my pedi with ZarahZou and the Vikings game. But we need to quit looking ahead and take this game seriously. The team that played the second half against the Saints is not the team I want to play in Philly. I don't want it come down to 10 seconds left, we can not expect another miracle. We need to play hard for the full 60 minutes!!!

Tuesday! And I need a reminder to make pedi appointments for me and ZarahZou. We are overdue. I've had to paint my own toenails three times since our last pedicure.

I spent all of last night achieving (??) level 1076 in Bubble Pop Fever. I'm both horrified and proud of myself. I've also been playing this other app called Choices and it's like a "choose your own adventure" story. But all of the really good choices involve spending actual money. I've been wearing the same dress for the whole social season and I know that Prince Joey McIntyre (you can name the prince yourself) will not choose me because I did not wear the current Cordonia fashion to the ball. Because it would have cost me $4.99 US. It's a fun story, but I just wish that more choices were free.

So this major sports thing happened last night, and I still can't really talk about it without my heart stopping. I had spent a couple minutes resigning myself to the loss. We are, after all, the Vikings. This is how we roll. And I say that only half-jokingly. Us fans have been through a lot. I texted the Princess that we lost and then I had to catch my breathe and slow down my heart to text her back "haha. just kidding." I was wearing Diggs yesterday, and he is my new hero. Right after Barr, of course. No matter what happens next week, we have had a phenomenal season and played some great games. And we already know that being a Vikings fan is not a fate for the weak!

The rest of my weekend was good. Still coughing. But still optimistic that it will end. I stopped at Target and my checkout ended with both me and the cashier all teary. I got the Princess a couple of birthday cards and the cashier mentioned that she got her daughter one of them and it was so perfect because it was so thoughtfully written, a little sappy but very meaningful. Then we exchanged stories about out daughters, we each have only one child, a wonderful daughter. She was getting all teary and I was doing fine. Until we got to the gift cards I was buying and she asked how much I wanted on each. And I said "$26, because she is going to be 26 on the 26th". And then the cashier got even more teary and that's when I lost it. I miss the Princess. Even if I know Cali is the best place for her right now.

It's Friday!! Still haven't gotten a good nights sleep, but who needs sleep when you've got coffee. I brought 2 large coffee cups into work with me today. Can't have too much! And I'm on level 994 of Bubble Pop Fever. I would like to request cupcakes be served at my intervention, please.

I'm going to have to miss yet another event due to this cough. I would not want me around either a new baby or other humans while I'm hacking up a lung. Because yuck! So I'll stay home and try to rest. Since I finished the antibiotics days ago, this must be viral and it's hanging on.

It's the day before Friday! And it's snowing. Next week is my week to have the underground heated parking garage spot at work. But the person who has it this week works from home Thursdays and Fridays, so I got it for the rest of this week, too. And today is the perfect underground heated garage parking spot day!! I lucked out!

Something in the wind has learned my name.....

The title of my autobiography is going to be "The Cough That Won't Quit". Because I have a cough that won't quit. You know it's bad when co-workers throw a handful of cough drops at you. I'm looking forward to a full nights sleep. Someday. If nothing else comes from not sleeping, I've managed to get to level 911 on Bubble Pop Fever. Yay for accomplishments!

I'm so happy it's warmed up a bit, even if it sounds like it's temporary.

My 28 game win streak on Words with Friends just ended. And I only lost by a couple points but I was stuck with a Q and absolutely no place to play it. Oh, well. I can't win every time.

It's not Monday, so at least there's that. It's 417 degrees in  my office. I'd rather it be 47. I can put on a sweater, but I can't take anything off. Lots of work to get done today. And maybe a load of laundry when I get home tonight. Or maybe not. We shall see.

Last night I watched Over the Top, a Sylvester Stallone movie from the late 80's. The movie was just okay, but the music was fantastic. Meet Me Halfway by Kenny Loggins. Monday! The only things I really accomplished this weekend were a couple of really good naps. But they were fantastic and I have no regrets. I'd do it all over again if I could. I also spent the weekend watching football to check out the vikings possible opponents. I'm excited for our next game. And am taking this one game at a time.

I also may or may not have watched several episodes of Heartland. I don't know what I'll do when this show is over. I'm very invested! I even decided to keep the horsicorn/unihorse (see photo below) leggings I bought to gift because I'm sort of obsessed with wanting to own a horse now. I don't even like animals. But I want a pony!!

Today's Lula is a navy and red Nicole with a red Lindsay. And I threw on a pair of black leggings because this is Minnesota.

Here are the unihorse/horsicorn leggings. They are a horse and unicorn combo. Weird but interesting. Paired with a Randy because nothing matches these.

It's Friday! I'm so ready for a weekend and lots and lots of naps. Maybe an end to this cough. I got into bed last night around 9:30 and wanted to play a game or 2 of Bubble Pop Fever. The next thing I knew, it was nearly midnight and I was still struggling to beat one of the boards. That game is horrible and evil. And I apparently have no impulse control. And no concept of time.

I'm still working on closing out the accounting month (and year), so lots of work to do today.

Tomorrow is Friday! I slept for 5 hours straight last night without waking up coughing! I think a corner has been turned! I still have a lot of work to get done for month end, but I'm feeling optimistic about it since I'm feeling a bit better.

I need to put gas in my car, but it's way too cold. My fingers are crossed that I can put it off until Saturday's warm up. Speaking of temperature, yesterday it was 63 in my office. Today it is at least 108. I hate being hot!

Wednesday! I really need a manicure. And a pedicure. And a massage. And a facial. I guess I need a full spa day. But since that is sort of out of my budget, I just need to repaint my nails. Unless the chipped look is in?

Knock on wood, but I think my cough is only about 62% of what it was yesterday. I see the light at the end. I may just recover from this. Aside from that, I've got nothing. I feel boring today.

Back to work. I had a pretty okayish New Years weekend if you consider spending 3 full days coughing to be acceptable. My New Years resolution is to not be sick. I'm failing so far, but I'm hopeful. Eventually this viral-bacteria-whatever-it-is has to leave. Right?!?

I spent NYE on the couch trying to pay attention to Steve Harvey's New Years show. But it was rather boring and I wanted to play Bubble Pop Fever.

Last night I watched Knocked Up for the ten thousandth time. I am totally in love with Katherine Heigl's lipstick in that movie. I tried to google it to find out what it was, but I got bored after 17 seconds and wanted my life back so I gave up. But if anyone is interested in a research project, I'd be willing to pay you. And by pay you, I mean I can offer you a Target gift card with $1.72 left on it and a full bottle of fabric softener since I cut down on using it since it's not Lula-friendly, and also I would give you my eternal gratitude. And even my internal gratitude if you want it. I'd also point you in a couple of different directions on how to go about the research that I am just too lazy to do. I'm sad to write that my dear, former co-worker JC passed away on Dec 30th. She was very, very sick and her passing is not a complete surprise, but it still super sucks. She was one of my favorite co-workers until she was forced into retirement due to her health. She is greatly missed. And that is 2 holiday's in a row that I have lost a kind, caring, wonderful person. It just sucks.
